The methodology unifies the process of processing and evaluating directional surveys of automobile traffic. The methodology focuses on directional regional surveys.

• The second part is devoted to the survey processing methods. The processing methods are divided here, and their advantages, disadvantages and risks are also listed.
• In the third part, the currently available methods of data evaluation, whether manual, automatic or combined, are similarly described.
• The last part of the methodology is focused on the outputs from these surveys in the form of intensities on profiles, matrices of transport relations, graphs and tables.
