Comprehensive analysis of microstructure and chemical composition of pavement samples

We offer a comprehensive analysis of the microstructure and chemical composition of pavement samples. Our services include the use of a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive analyzer (EDX) to detail surfaces, fractures and sections of materials. We perform compositional analysis of cement concrete pavements, identification of mineral phases and admixtures, and evaluation of at-risk aggregates. Outputs include digital photographs and detailed chemical compositions. This analysis is key to ensuring the longevity and stability of transportation infrastructure.
