Methodology of using a robotic glove with VR for AV4 telenavigation
Methodology of using a robotic glove with VR for AV4 telenavigation
This methodology focuses on practical aspects and procedures that are key to the successful use of robotic gloves in combination with virtual reality (VR) for telenavigation of autonomous vehicles and systems. The methodology is the result of many years of collaboration between experts from various fields, including transportation, robotics, psychology and computer science. This document provides comprehensive guidance on how to properly implement and optimize the use of robotic gloves in autonomous systems, with a special emphasis on the human factor. The use of robotic gloves in combination with VR allows operators to effectively and intuitively control autonomous systems remotely, which is essential especially in environments where high accuracy and rapid response to changes in the environment are required.
